Even though Three Card Poker is a fairly easy game to know, the structure of your poker hand needs to be given particular care. One of the big choices in this game is whether to lift or fold and you decide this by rating your hand. This article is designed to help you make that decision easier when playing on a land-based or online casino.
These are the Three Card Poker hand rankings that I’m going to rank from the lowest to the highest:
High card: a single card value, no duplicates, not in sequence, and they all have to be of another suit. To be graded as a High Card card, the hand must have a Queen or higher Card. King of hearts, for say, 10 of clubs and 3 of clubs in one hand.
The same value will refer to two of the three cards. Ten hearts, ten balls, and three clubs in one hand, for example.
The three cards have to be of the same suit but not consecutive. For example, in one hand 2 of diamonds, 6 of diamonds and 7 of diamonds.
All three cards are of the same suit in sequence but not the same. For example 2 Clubs, 3 Diamonds and 4 Spades in one hand.
Three of a Kind: Three from the same coin. For eg, in one hand 4 of Clubs, 4 of diamonds and 4 of hearts.
Straight Flush: The best hand in Three Card Poker that you can get. This consists of the cards that are in order and the same suit. Queen of hearts, King of hearts and Ace of hearts, for example.
